Are you completly satisfied about your last work?
Well,
my last work ?Crossing the invisible line? is also my first work. This
is my debut album. I can?t say that I am completely satisfied with it. I
don?t know of any artist who is ever completely satisfied with what they
do. Not being satisfied I think is just the nature of art and being
artistic. Having said that everyday I hear new albums that have just
been released and most often I feel that I have made a far superior
album.
Wich are the most important ispiration for doing this new album?
Life. As I said this is my first album so all my experiences in life leading upto when I finished writing and recording this album have been documented here. The album is like an autobiography and each song is a chapter telling a different story.
Is There some others artists that you think important to reccomend us?
Absolutely. I think Glen Philips is an excellent song writer. He used
to be the singer and songwriter in a successful band here in the US
called Toad the Wet Sprocket. He is now doing a solo record and has just
finished making an album with another amazing group of musicians called
Nickel Creek. This projest is called Mutual Admiration Society and they
are on tour now. In their band they have John Paul Jones (LedZeppelin)
and Pete Thomas (Elvis Costello and the Attractions). Other good singer
songwriters here in the US are Matt Nathanson and Ari Hest. We also just
finished touring with Everlast who is now on tour in Europe.
Are there some others projects for the your future?
Yes.
Always. We will soon be back on tour again so we are preparing for that. I am also writing for the next album
too.
Is there something in your album that you don't like
enough?
I think on some songs we over produced it. Some of the songs are so beautiful that really all they needed was a guitar and a voice. At least now I know for next time.
